Edo. G and Shabaam Sahdeeq let loose a fresh new track called “Play To Win”, Produced by Fokis. The track features a verse from Torae and cuts by DJ Eclipse making this an east coast banger of the highest caliber. With this premiere is the announcement of an EP pairing the Boston hip-hop legend and Rawkus alum with production entirely handled by Lower East Side based emcee/producer Fokis (MC Eiht, Planet Asia, N.O.R.E, Sadat X, Canibus).
The Recognize Your Power EP will drop on 10/14 via Loyalty Digital Corp (pre-order link below). Besides Torae and DJ Eclipse, other guests on the release will include Ras Kass, Oh No, Planet Asia and Craig G. Speaking on the title of the EP, Fokis elaborated saying “one has the freedom and ability to do as he or she pleases. You can work hard or play hard, you can make this kind of music or make that kind of music. The choice is yours. It’s all about the free will of man and what you choose to do with your power.”
