JAMES MOORE

When most people think of Pittsburgh, PA they think of The Steel Mills, Pitt Basketball, The Steelers & The Pirates. Once Wiz khalifa hit the scene he pretty much changed that and put Pittsburgh on the map musically with his hit "Black & Yellow". Meet James Moore, a 27 year old producer who began producing in 2003 and has already crafted records with some heavy weights. The Pittsburgh, PA native started out running the sound for theater productions and other live sound during middle & high school. He was also the home DJ for The Golden Tornadoes Basketball Team, at Geneva College. During his collegiate years, he began producing & developing his own artists. He has worked & produced for artists such as Mac Miller, Tito Lopez, former Aftermath artist Joe Beast, Julian Stephen among others.
James Moore first connected with Fokis in 2010 to produce the single "Where Were You" from the album A Walk Through MySpace Vol. 2. The single produced a video and was placed on a variety of blogs. James' sound is a blend of soul, jazz, gospel, funk & new wave mixed. Now a member of the Local-Mu12 crew, you can expect to hear some new tunes, as he looks forward to bringing that sound to Local-Mu12. Click here for Local-Mu12 Bio
